George Michael LGBT

[edit]

George Michael was a Gay Rights activist not LGBT. You cannot make assumptions of support for T. Also you need to define what T means: gender dsyphoria or something else. 86.141.162.1 (talk) 07:16, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@86.141.162.1 Hello, the 'T' is for 'transexual'. NORMALLY LGBT people support their crew. But yes, we don't know if he even talked about this. Maybe this could be changed as only Gay right activist. Have a good day. J. G. is a blonde freak (talk) 22:04, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think "LGBT" is generally regraded as "a community". You don't actually have to be all four of those things. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:16, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Martinevans123 Yeah, it's true, but they are equals? so not supporting them WOULD be strange. Idk, just my personal opinion. Maybe we'll never know what he thought abt them. Also, the LGBT community isn't only Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual, it's a lot of more things... So it would be more accurate to write only gay rights. J. Errrrrm, he was gay. It's pretty simple. We should really reflect how the sources generally describe him. I'm pretty sure he didn't exclude any particular part of the LGBT community from his campaigning. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:30, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Careless Whisper

[edit]

Was not George Michael’s first solo single. It was a collaboration of he and Andrew Ridgley and was a song on the Wham Make it Big Album. Please correct when you can! 2600:4040:4909:DE00:D17C:F211:AE38:A615 (talk) 18:34, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The album's page, Make It Big, says "it was credited either to Wham! featuring George Michael (in North America and several other countries) or solely to George Michael (in the United Kingdom and some European countries)." I wonder if that was why the editor wrote first solo single. 23impartial (talk) 23:09, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

birth order

[edit]

If George's two sisters were born in 1958 and 1960, and George was born in 1963, then he was the YOUNGEST child of three, not the middle. Birth order makes a difference... 204.210.107.253 (talk) 15:39, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Done. Thanks.

Greek Cypriot heritage.

[edit]

Even though he was born in England, being how George Michael’s Greek Cypriot heritage was an integral part of his identity, and the appreciation he’s shown towards his Greek side throughout his career, it is in my firm belief that it would be more appropriate to describe George Michael as “Greek Cypriot-English” or “English-Greek Cypriot” in the introduction to his Wikipedia page.
